I typically don't care for Chinese food, but I came here and LOVE IT! I always get the same thing & highly recommend it to everyone. Plus the lady that works in the front is the best !

In my experience, this is one of the best Chinese food restaurants in Santa Cruz county! It's great take out. I'm happy to find Chinese cuisine I'm excited about since the O'mei closed .

If you remember the old King Chwan off of Ocean St. you will remember it by this place, brings back the childhood memories - the yummy ones. HA! Their Hunan Beef is TO-DIE-FOR & highly highly recommend with White Rice & for the appetizer Shrimp Sizzling Rice Soup in their Red Tomato Base with extra Tomato Base is fabulously flavorful & order it with extra shrimp, you will thank me & yourself. BAHAHAHA! Sally is so sweet & knows what all the locals like & what they keep on coming back for. She is one multitasker playing many rolls with; answering the phone, dealing with pickup orders, serving people at their tables, & grabbing the food from the kitchen to their designated areas. However, their abiance needs a lot of TLC for sure! It is really outdated & needs attention ASAP, but you know this are the places that are worth going to regardless of their ambiance.

The Mongolian beef lunch special was so good!!! They have really good white rice too! Good egg roll! Fortune cookies both had messages that didn't really make any sense. I will come here again and recommend highly

I'm impressed! This place came recommended by locals on a Facebook group. Came for lunch and ordered 2 specials. The hot and sour soup was kind of mid... but everything else was GREAT! I'll be back!

Great Chinese food here. I am partial to the Mongolian Beef, but also enjoy the potickers and veggie fried rice. The dining room is well kept and clean. Service is friendly and the food is always hot.

What's crazy is I've lived in SC my whole life and just drove by countless times before my coworker told me I had to come check it out and I'm glad I did !! Don't sleep on the gem the serving size is amazing you can definitely take some home!!! And the taste YUM I have to say the best we have around !! I was always stuck on one place that we went to as kids.. I'm so glad I stopped and to be honest I should've wrote something on the first time we came in but I forgot.

This place is a little hidden gem that most tourists would pass over but the locals recognize as one of the best places for good Chinese cuisine. Though it doesn't look like from the outside, the inside is quaint and a little outdated but clean and kind of cozy. The food here is not the most amazing or authentic, but if you're looking for just a simple dinner that's on the cheaper side, please give this place a chance. The combination plates for dinner or lunch are very good and generously portioned. You'll probably not finish and have leftovers the next day. The broccoli beef was great and very flavorful, pork fried rice and chicken chow mein were very good as well, the only thing that was not outstanding was the sweet and sour pork. It was very dry and pretty insipid, but overall not terrible. I personally prefer sweet and sour chicken because sweet and sour pork tends to be on the drier side at most restaurants. Overall, I have a new place to go to when I'm craving Chinese food and don't want to pay $12 for a small plate of food at Panda Express.

Great food and ready before we got there to pick it up. Everything we ordered was amazing. Noodles, fried rice, beef with broccoli, green beans (nice and crispy/crunchy), shrimp, etc. They have really redeemed themselves and are scrumptious.

Their food is always good. The inside is pretty small and you definitely get the "hole in the wall" vibe here. But it's still pretty intimate and not a bad place to have a good meal with your date. The biggest highlight here is their food! I haven't had anything that I haven't liked. I've been here about a dozen time and I've never been disappointed. Their soups are really good too and not just water and salt like most places.
